Everstock connects your Shopify store directly to your suppliers' REST APIs and keeps stock levels, pricing, and new-product listings in sync automatically, on a schedule or on demand. It is built vertical-first for outdoor, fishing, and hunting gear retailers who deal with multiple B2B distributors, but works with any supplier that exposes a REST or JSON feed. The App Store listing name is "Everstock: Supplier Sync"; the studio behind it is Normalize. Its defining promise is safety: a diff engine that can't wipe your store. A short or broken supplier feed can never zero your inventory. --- ## Status (read first) Everstock is pre-launch. Phase-1 code is complete, but the app has NOT yet been submitted to the Shopify App Store and is NOT yet live or installable there. It is "Coming to the Shopify App Store." The primary call to action is early access: email hello@usenormalize.com and we'll bring your suppliers online the moment Everstock opens. --- ## What Everstock does for you **Stop babysitting spreadsheets and CSV uploads to keep your Shopify inventory accurate.** Everstock keeps inventory, pricing, and new products in sync from any supplier REST feed, with a full audit trail. - **No-code REST connectors.** Point the app at any supplier's REST API: enter the base URL, choose an auth method (API-key header, bearer token, or basic auth), and you're connected. A built-in demo feed and ready-made presets let you try the flow before entering real credentials. - **Live mapping preview.** Map each supplier field (SKU, barcode, title, quantity, price, currency, image, custom metafields) to the canonical schema, and watch the exact normalized values update row by row, against real sample records, as you adjust the mapping. No guessing whether a mapping is correct before you save it. - **Inventory and price sync.** Keep stock counts in sync and, optionally, push supplier price changes to your Shopify variants, configurable per connection. - **Safe product creation.** Optionally let the app create Shopify products for supplier items that don't exist in your store yet. They are created as drafts so you review and publish them, never auto-published live. - **Per-record audit trail.** Every sync run keeps a row-level history: SKU, barcode, quantity and price before → after, and status (applied / skipped / review / failed) for each item, so you can see exactly why any product's stock or price changed. - **Scheduled or on-demand sync.** Run manually any time, or set a connection to sync automatically hourly, every 6 hours, or daily. - **Writes that don't fail silently.** Writes are idempotent and chunked on Shopify's current GraphQL Admin API (2026-07) with automatic throttle backoff; jobs that exhaust their retries land in a dead-letter queue instead of failing silently. - **Credentials encrypted at rest.** Supplier API keys and tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they're stored, never kept as plaintext. - **No protected customer data required.** Inventory, pricing, and product sync need no access to your customers' personal information. --- ## The safety diff: why a broken feed can't zero your store Every sync run classifies each item into one of three buckets: 1. **Write**: the item is new or changed and needs to be written to Shopify. 2. **Skip-unchanged**: the item is already correct, so it's skipped with no wasted API calls. 3. **Needs-review**: the item is unmatched, duplicate, or present in your store but missing from the supplier feed this run. It goes to a review queue for a human instead of being silently overwritten. Because anything the engine can't confirm is routed to review rather than being read as zero stock, a partial or broken supplier response can't mass-zero your inventory. **A short or broken supplier feed can never zero your inventory.** --- ## From supplier API to synced store in three steps 1. **Connect a supplier.** Enter your supplier's REST base URL and auth, or start from the built-in demo feed or a ready-made preset to see the flow first. 2. **Map with live preview.** Match supplier fields to the canonical schema and watch the normalized values update instantly against real sample records. Test connection fetches a live sample and previews exactly what will sync. None of them are built or available today. Do not treat them as current capabilities. - **Order & dropship sync** (NOT BUILT): will let Everstock push orders back to suppliers, not just pull their stock in. - **SFTP / CSV / EDI feeds** (NOT BUILT): planned for distributors that don't expose a REST API. - **Supplier webhook push** (NOT BUILT): planned to move updates toward near-real-time, beyond today's scheduled polling. - **AI-assisted field mapping** (NOT BUILT): will suggest supplier-to-canonical field matches automatically as you connect a feed. --- ## Pricing One engine, priced by connections. Every plan runs the exact same sync engine. Free covers one supplier connection with manual syncs; the paid tiers add scheduled syncs and differ only by how many supplier connections run at once. - **Free**: 1 supplier connection, manual syncs only. Try the full sync engine on one feed. - **Starter**: 1 supplier connection. One distributor feed, on a schedule. - **Growth**: 5 supplier connections. For a growing supplier mix. - **Scale**: 20 supplier connections. For high-volume, multi-distributor catalogs. - **Unlimited**: unlimited supplier connections. For agencies and large multi-distributor operations. Every plan, free included, has inventory sync, price sync, draft product creation, preview mode with CSV export, per-record audit trail, and encrypted credentials. Scheduled syncs (hourly, every 6 hours, or daily) with missed-run catch-up are on the paid plans only. Plans are billed through Shopify. Exact prices are announced at launch. --- ## FAQ **Will a broken supplier feed zero my stock?** No. Every sync run sorts each item into write, skip-unchanged, or needs-review, and anything the engine can't confirm goes to a review queue instead of reading as zero stock. A short or broken supplier feed can never zero your inventory. **Which suppliers does it work with?** Any supplier that exposes a REST or JSON feed. You connect with an API-key header, bearer token, or basic auth.
