Supplier inventory sync for Shopify

Supplier stock that syncs itself. And never zeroes your store.

Connect any supplier REST feed and keep inventory, pricing and new products in sync on a schedule, with a full audit trail.

01 · How it works

Connect · Map · Sync

From supplier API to synced store in three steps.

Connect a REST feed, map your fields against live sample data, then sync now or set it on a schedule.

  1. Connect a supplier

Enter your supplier's REST base URL and auth, or start from the built-in demo feed or a ready-made preset.

  2. Map with live preview

Match supplier fields to the canonical schema and watch the normalized values update instantly against real sample records.

  3. Sync now or schedule

Run your first sync manually and check the per-record history, or set it to run hourly, every 6 hours, or daily.

Eleven core capabilities

What Everstock does today.

Abstract geometric illustration: a column of small squares descends a construction line past a shield bearing a check mark and sorts into three stepped trays (forest green, sand, and outlined ink) on warm paper

03 · Reliability

Never mass-zeroes

A diff engine that can't wipe your store.

Every sync run classifies each item into three buckets (write, skip-unchanged, or needs-review), and anything it can't confirm is held for review in that run's history instead of reading as zero stock.

A short or broken supplier feed can never zero your inventory.

R.01

Three-bucket safety diff

Each item is sorted into a needed write, an unchanged skip, or a needs-review case, so a partial feed can't mass-zero your stock.

R.02

A needs-review bucket, not a black hole

Unmatched, duplicate, or missing-from-feed items land in a needs-review bucket, visible right in that run's history: never a silent overwrite, and never zeroed out.

R.03

Writes that don't fail silently

Shopify writes are idempotent and chunked with automatic throttle backoff; jobs that exhaust their retries land in a dead-letter queue, not the void. Supplier write-back pushes are deliberately single-attempt.

04 · Built for

Multi-distributor

Built for outdoor, fishing and hunting retailers.

Made first for gear retailers juggling multiple B2B distributor APIs, but it works with any supplier that exposes a REST or JSON feed.

05 · Roadmap

Planned · not yet available

The road ahead.

Where Everstock is going.

  1. Order & dropship sync

    Planned

Order and dropship fulfillment sync will let Everstock push orders back to suppliers, not just pull their stock in.

  2. SFTP / CSV / EDI feeds

    Planned

SFTP, CSV and EDI supplier feeds are planned for distributors that don't expose a REST API.

  3. Supplier webhook push

    Planned

Supplier webhook push is planned to move updates toward near-real-time, beyond today's scheduled polling.

  4. AI-assisted mapping

    Planned

AI-assisted field mapping will suggest supplier-to-canonical field matches automatically as you connect a feed.

Roadmap items are not part of the current release.

07 · FAQ

Straight answers

Questions merchants ask.

Will a broken supplier feed zero my stock?

No. Every sync run sorts each item into write, skip-unchanged, or needs-review, and anything it can't confirm is held for review in that run's history instead of reading as zero stock. A short or broken supplier feed can never zero your inventory.

Can I see what a sync will do before it changes anything?

Yes. Preview mode runs the full pipeline (fetching supplier data, matching it, and diffing it against your store) without writing anything to Shopify. You get the same before → after view a real run produces, plus a CSV export of every planned change, so you can check it before you commit.

Which suppliers does it work with?

Any supplier that exposes a REST or JSON feed, connected with an API-key header, bearer token, or basic auth. A built-in demo feed and ready-made presets let you try the flow before entering real credentials. Everstock is built first for outdoor, fishing, and hunting retailers working with multiple B2B distributor APIs.

Can I export my Shopify catalog?

Yes. From any connection's page you can export a CSV of that store's current variants along with the matching key (SKU or barcode) the sync resolves for each one, which is useful for auditing your catalog before or after connecting a supplier.

Does it sync prices as well as inventory?

Yes. Everstock keeps stock counts in sync and can optionally push supplier price changes to your Shopify variants. Price sync is configurable per connection, so you enable it only where you want it.

Can it push my Shopify inventory back to the supplier?

For a supplier whose API accepts writes, a connection can be configured to push Shopify's quantities back to them. This is off by default, and only available for suppliers whose API supports it. FFE and BigBuy are read-only feed APIs, so write-back isn't available for either. This is inventory write-back only, not order or dropship fulfillment sync.

Are my supplier credentials safe?

Yes. Supplier API keys and tokens, and Shopify's own access tokens for your store, are all encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM before they're stored, and never kept as plaintext.

Does it need access to my customers' data?

No. Inventory, pricing, and product sync require no access to your customers' personal information. Everstock requests no protected customer data for its core functionality.
